Wildcats score a convincing victory over the Crowd

GOLF Club Wildcats defeated Criterion Crowd 9 – 2

The Wildcats claimed the team game then the Criterion took the first singles game, but after the Wildcats got their eye in, they took the remaining three singles games of the first set then the two doubles games and the first singles game of the second set before the Criterion were able to stop their gallop. The Wildcats were just too strong as they claimed the remaining two singles games of the night. Highest Score for men went to Tom Duxbury with 140. Highest Score for ladies went to Roselyn Chapman with 96. Highest Peg for men went to Lindsay McCreadie with 86. Highest Peg for ladies went to Roselyn Chapman with 71.

Agi X-Men defeated Central Cannons 8 – 3

The X-Men claimed the team game and the Cannons claimed the first singles game before the X-Men ran to the lead, taking the remaining three singles games of the first set and the first doubles game before the Cannons were able to claim their second game of the night. The X-Men took the first singles game of the second set to claim victory for the night with the Cannons taking the second singles game of the second set leaving the remaining two for the X-Men. Highest Score for men went to Robie Hedges Snr and Jason Burley with 140. Highest Score for ladies went to Destinee Hedges with 100. Highest Peg for men went to Robie Hedges Snr with 62. Highest Peg for ladies went to Destinee Hedges with 40.

Golf Club Eagles defeated Agi H.O.P.S 7 – 4

The Eagles took the first three games before the H.O.P.S were able to stop their run by claiming the third singles game. The Eagles pegged the fourth singles game to give them a lead of four games to one going into the second half the night. The doubles games went one apiece. Chris Swan was on a roll, as he claimed the H.O.P.S third game of the night by taking the first singles game of the second set before the Eagles took the next two games leaving the last game for the H.O.P.S. Highest Score for men went to Kevin Erdmann with 140 twice. Highest Peg for men went to Monty Stair with 90.

Monday October 6 is a public holiday and therefore no darts.

B Grade

Club Singleton Chameleons defeated Agi Do’ers 6 – 5

With the Chameleons taking the team game, the Do’ers took the first and third singles games and the Chameleons the second and fourth. This gave the Chameleons a lead of three games to two going into the second half the night. The doubles games went one apiece. The Do’ers claimed the first singles of the second set, then the Chameleons stormed home to take the remaining three singles games to claim the night. Highest Score for men went to Greg Thrift with 140. Highest Score for ladies went to Jan Cullen with 100. Highest Peg for men went to Ray Solman with 30. Highest Peg for ladies went to Linda Lane with 32.

Agi Social Darters defeated Agi Road Runners 8 – 3

The Social Darters proved too strong for the Road Runners as they claimed the team game and the first set of singles along with the first doubles game before the Road Runners were able to get on the board thanks to captain Rhonda. The Social Darters claimed the first singles game of the second set before the senior player of the Road Runners, along with his captain claimed the extra two games to give them three hard fought games for the night. The Social Darters rounded out the night by taking the last game on offer. Highest Score for men went to Hunter Maskey with 120. Highest Score for ladies went to Nicole Baker with 97. Highest Peg for men went to Dave Saunders with 50. Highest Peg for ladies went to Rhonda Forbes with 28.

Golf Club Caddies defeated Cali Panthers 7 – 4

The Caddies started the night by claiming the team game before the Panthers stepped up and claimed the first singles game of the first set. The Caddies hit back to take the remaining three singles of the first set giving them a lead of four games to one going into the second half the night. The doubles went one apiece then the remaining set of singles went two games apiece. Highest Score for men went to Tony Zanardi with 109. Highest Score for ladies went to Jessica Spinks with 94. Highest Peg for men went to Tony Zanardi with 40. Highest Peg for ladies went to Sandra Zanardi with 50.

Monday October 6 is a public holiday and therefore no darts.

Next week there will be a point score and the following week’s draw.
